\nA: Portal Knights launches onto console on May 19th, 2017 in Europe, then on May 23rd in North America. <\/p>\n

Q: Will Portal Knights be available to purchase physically or digitally?<\/strong>
\nA: Both! <\/p>\n

Q: Can I pre-order Portal Knights digitally?<\/strong>
\nA: You can pre-order Portal Knights right now on the Xbox One store. We won\u2019t be able to take pre-orders on the PlayStation store, but don\u2019t panic, it\u2019ll be available digitally on the day of launch.<\/p>\n

Q: How much will Portal Knights cost at launch?<\/strong>
\nA: The digital edition of Portal Knights will cost $19.99 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. If you\u2019re interested in purchasing the physical edition of Portal Knights, then we suggest speaking to your local retailers or visiting their websites for more information. <\/p>\n

Q: Can I try out Portal Knights before launch?<\/strong>
\nA: Yes — you can! We\u2019ve just launched a Portal Knights free trial for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.<\/p>\n

Q: Where can I find the free trial for Portal Knights?<\/strong>

Q: What can I do in the free trial?<\/strong>
\nA: Head into game now and explore Squire’s Knoll, the first island in Portal Knights. Pick your character class, customize your hero and get to grips with some of what the game has to offer. Hone your tactical combat skills, harness the crafting system, build a base, play with friends in local split screen co-op and much more!<\/p>\n

Q: Can I play with friends in the free trial?<\/strong>
\nA: You certainly can! Whilst you won\u2019t be able to play online with friends until launch next month, you can now play local 2 player split screen co-op as part of the trial. <\/p>\n

Q: Can I share screenshots and gameplay footage from the trial?<\/strong>
\nA: Absolutely, and we encourage you to do so! We look forward to seeing what you guys are up to in game and what you\u2019re creating. <\/p>\n

Q: I\u2019m building a base and want to carry my save over to the full game at launch. Can I do that?<\/strong>
\nA: Absolutely! Your save data is safe and if you go onto purchasing Portal Knights, your data will carry over at launch.<\/p>\n

Q: How do I access the next island in the Portal Knights trial?<\/strong>
\nA: You won\u2019t be able to explore other islands until we launch next month and you\u2019ll need to purchase Portal Knights in order to do so. <\/p>\n

Q: Will there be an online mode at launch?<\/strong>
\nA: Yes! There will be. Up to 4 players can play together cooperatively online! Oh\u2026 Just a word of warning though\u2026 Because anyone can terraform a world they\u2019ve joined, we suggest you play with friends rather than strangers!<\/p>\n

Q: Does Portal Knights on PS4 and Xbox One support split screen?<\/strong>
\nA: Yes! 2 player split screen co-op is available in Portal Knights. <\/p>\n

Q: How do I activate local split screen co-op in the trial?<\/strong>
\nA: On the character selection screen, player 2 can activate split screen by pressing the \u2018Options\u2019 button (PS4), or the \u2018Menu\u2019 button on their Xbox One controller.<\/p>\n

Q: I\u2019m already playing Portal Knights on PC. What will happen once the games launches onto console? Will anything change?<\/strong>
\nA: Nope! You\u2019ll be pleased to know that nothing\u2019s going to change. We\u2019re going to continue listening to our community and take your suggestions on board.
