Today is an incredibly exciting day for the team! We\u2019re pleased to announce that Portal Knights is coming out of Early Access on April 28th 2017 and also heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! (Scheduled for launch on April 28th in Europe, then May 2nd in North America.)<\/p>\n

A Big Thank You!<\/strong>
\nThere\u2019s so much we want to talk to you about, but let\u2019s kick things off with talking about our current players\u2026 The teams at 505 Games and Keen would first like to thank our Early Access community for their incredible support over the last 11 months. It\u2019s almost been a year since we launched onto Steam and the enthusiasm, feedback, encouragement and support we\u2019ve received has been truly overwhelming. We\u2019re so grateful to have you all on board and as cheesy as it sounds, you really do mean everything to us! The aim has always been to listen to our community and you\u2019ve done an incredible job at helping us build Portal Knights from the foundation we laid back in February 2016. We\u2019ve come a long way and we\u2019re going to keep on pushing going forward. For that, we want to thank you!<\/p>\n

Portal Knights \u2013 Console <\/strong>
\nAs for our console community, hello and welcome on board! We\u2019ve seen so many of you asking us whether Portal Knights is coming to console or not and to now be able to answer you with a \u201cYES IT IS\u201d is truly exciting. If you\u2019re totally new to Portal Knights and have no idea what to expect, then do not fear! Over the coming weeks, we\u2019re going to give you an insight into what Portal Knights is about and what you can expect. Stay tuned and be sure to follow \/ like us across our Official community channels to stay up to date with the latest. Oh and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have. We\u2019d absolutely love to chat with you guys! <\/p>\n

We know our console community might be wondering if there\u2019ll be any differences between the PC and the console editions of Portal Knights. Right now, the developers are in the optimization stages with console, so we\u2019ll be able to give you more info in the coming weeks of any technical differences between the console and PC editions, should there be any at all! With regards to content, everything the PC community has, the console community will have. The content that PC and console users will receive will remain the same and the plan going forward is to sync our updates the best we can. <\/p>\n

Portal Knights – PC<\/strong>
\nSo, PC players\u2026 You\u2019re probably wondering what\u2019s going to happen once Portal Knights leaves Early Access. Correct? <\/p>\n

Well, you\u2019ll be pleased to know that nothing\u2019s going to change. We\u2019re going to continue listening to our community and take your suggestions on board. The plan is to keep on updating Portal Knights in the same fashion we always have done and we really hope you guys stick with us. Simply because you\u2019re awesome and you really do matter to us.<\/p>\n

For those who have joined us already during Early Access on Steam, we want to thank you for your support. Early Access adopters have already been given the Pioneer Flag and Cape, but we want to give you something extra. Once Portal Knights leaves Early Access, we want to award our players with some bonus items! Stay tuned for more info.<\/p>\n

As for the next major update, it\u2019s coming! Our developers continue to work incredibly hard behind the scenes and we\u2019ll update you with more info on v 0.8.0 in the near future. Watch this space! <\/p>\n

Leaving Early Access<\/strong>
\nIf you\u2019re a PC player and you haven\u2019t jumped on board yet, you might want to consider joining us before we leave Early Access. As a result of the amount of new content that has now been introduced to Portal Knights, once we leave Early Access there will be a price increase. BUT DO NOT PANIC! If you want to make a saving and take advantage of the bonus Early Access items, be sure to download Portal Knights before April 28th 2017. Don\u2019t say we didn\u2019t warn you! \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n

We\u2019re super excited with what\u2019s around the corner and there\u2019s a bunch of awesome content coming to Portal Knights, in both the console edition and PC edition. Let us give you an insight into what you can expect\u2026<\/p>\n

Upcoming Content<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019re introducing split-screen to Portal Knights, something our players have been requesting for a while now and we\u2019re making a bunch of changes and improvements to the RPG elements in-game. Not only that, but one of the biggest community requests is coming – The ability for players to explore different islands while in the same multiplayer session. This is something our team have been working really hard on behind the scenes and we cannot wait to finally bring it to game. Stay tuned for more info\u2026 We have so much coming up!<\/p>\n

Exciting Times<\/strong>
\nOnce again, we want to welcome the console community to Portal Knights and thank our existing PC community for the amazing level of support they\u2019ve shown us! We\u2019re entering an incredibly exciting time right now and we\u2019re so grateful to have you all on board. It really does mean so much to us!<\/p>\n
