(PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam) Named the Elves, Rogues and Rifts DLC expansion, this all new addition will add a bunch of exciting content to game, including\u2026<\/p>\n
A NEW RACE<\/strong> A NEW CLASS<\/strong> A NEW PLANET<\/strong> Explore brand new islands, a Rogue\u2019s Guild, a splendid Elvish city, new merchants, NPCs, and head off on an epic quest storyline. Help the Elves and Rogues of Faynore as the Hollow Dimension threatens their realm!<\/p>\n THE RIFT <\/strong> T-REX PET<\/strong> Stay tuned for a full list of notes when we launch!<\/p>\n As mentioned above, we are also bringing a FREE update to Portal Knights, across PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Throughout the week, we\u2019ll be unveiling more info. BUT, let\u2019s use today as an opportunity to highlight something in particular that we think our players will be pleased with\u2026<\/p>\n CREATIVE MODE UPDATE<\/strong> \u2022 ISLAND TESTING<\/strong> \u2013 You’ll soon be able to test islands on the fly. What does this mean exactly? Keep reading\u2026<\/p>\n \u2022 PLACEABLE ENEMIES<\/strong> \u2013 This is something we know our community have been asking for, so we\u2019re excited to be bringing this feature to game! By selecting \u201cTest Play Island\u201d on the pause menu, you\u2019ll then see your enemies come to life.<\/p>\n \u2022 LOGIC OBJECTS<\/strong> \u2013 We\u2019re introducing a selection of new objects that will allow our creative Knights to create puzzle and gameplay challenges. This includes pressure plates, traps, buttons, interactive doors, lights, a connection tool and more!<\/p>\n Of course, this is only one of the many new and exciting features coming to Portal Knights as part of our next major update! Rifts are randomly generated dungeons filled with devious traps and puzzles, and never-seen-before enemies. \nA: The Elves, Rogues, and Rifts DLC expansion, as well as the free update, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam.<\/p>\n
\nA: Right now, we don\u2019t have plans to bring the Elves, Rogues and Rifts DLC or the Questing update to mobile devices. As much as we would have liked to have brought this content to all platforms, we have decided to focus on PC and consoles to ensure this content is as good as possible. While mobile is not in our immediate plans for upcoming content, we are still investigating opportunities with mobile for the future.<\/p>\n
\nA: We don\u2019t have a release date to share right now, but we can tell you that Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a little longer to receive the premium Elves, Rogues and Rifts DLC and free Questing update. We need to follow different submission processes for each platform holder and this has ultimately led to differences for our release dates. Whilst we would have loved to bring this content out at the same time for all players, we can only apologise to Nintendo Switch players for the longer wait. Please know we are working flat out to bring this new content to you ASAP! Stay tuned to our social channels for release dates.<\/p>\n
